AT&T signed a new long-term agreement with tower company American Tower on September 3 to achieve common development by simplifying the leasing process and expanding network development services.

The new protocol simplifies wireless network deployment at American Tower US sites and enhances AT&T 's ability to deploy 5G and other next-generation technologies in the United States, including the national public safety emergency communications network platform.

At the same time, it guarantees the increasing use of data traffic and expands its coverage, especially in rural areas where services are underserved.
