The first Council of Zhongguancun Institute of Ubiquitous-X Innovation and Application (X-Net) was successfully held on April 29th, 2021. On behalf of Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Management Committee, Inspector Liu Hang congratulated X-Net，Zhongguancun Innovation and Application Institute on its establishment, and highly affirmed that the establishment of Zhongguancun Institute of Ubiquitous-X Innovation and Application played an important role in promoting Beijing to build a digital benchmark city. Liu Hang said that the Beijing Municipal Science and Technology Commission and Zhongguancun Management Committee attach great importance to the development of ZGC Innovation and Application Institute, and will provide support in the transformation of achievements of 5G key technologies, the construction and standardization of new patent pools, the introduction of high-end and top talents, and the construction of national technological innovation centers. He put forward the hopes and requirements for X-Net, ZGC Innovation and Application Institute: First, strengthen the scientific research work of 5G application in vertical industries; The second is to complete the internationalization-oriented standard system and carry out testing and verification work; The third is to carry out research and layout of forward-looking technologies such as 6G; Fourth, further opening up, attracting partners, building an ecological circle, and making research institutes bigger and stronger.

Accelerate the integration of vertical industries such as 5G and industrial Internet, and carry out cutting-edge technology research such as intelligent agent communication and intelligent simple network. Third, actively explore institutional innovation. With the unique location and policy advantages of Zhongguancun, explore the management of new scientific research institutions and establish the "Top Brand" and reputation of X-Net,  Zhongguancun Institute of Ubiquitous-X Innovation and Application.
