IMT-2020 (5G) Promotion Group supports the creation of the first batch of MEC and C-V2X fusion test beds on September 3.  The first batch of multi-access edge computing (MEC) and C-V2X fusion test beds supported by the IMT-2020 (5G) promotion group was officially launched.

The idea of the integration of MEC and C-V2X is to deploy vehicle networking services on edge platforms to support low-latency, localized, high-quality "people-vehicle-road-cloud" collaborative services.

It provides more comprehensive perceptual information for auxiliary driving and high-level autopilot, and provides better support for the construction of intelligent transportation and intelligent city.
