Vietnam Viettel and Nokia launch 5G pilot in Ho Chi Minh City on Sept. 23.

Viettel, a Vietnamese military telecommunications company, deployed an end-to-end 5G network in an area of Ho Chi Minh City using Nokia devices. Nokia has installed 10 5G base stations in the region using the operator's existing LTE facilities and upgraded the entire infrastructure, including wireless access, cloud core networks and hosting.
