China's Three Operators Issued 5G Commercial Package on November 1

More than 100 days after the issuance of the 5G commerical license, the 5G package fee has finally launched on the market. The three major telecom operators officially launched 5G commercial use at the opening ceremony of the PT EXPO China in Beijing on October 31. From November 1,  the three operators will officially launch the 5G commercial package. 

On June 6 this year, China officially issued 5G license and 5G entered the first year of commercial use. Compared with 4G network, 5G network has the technical characteristics of large bandwidth, low latency and broad connection, and the peak rate of 5G network is higher than that of 1Gbps. At the end of last month, major operators opened 5G package booking service, users can get 100 gigabytes of 5G traffic free of charge. Statistics show that in less than a month, 5G reservation users exceeded tens of millions of people. 

According to the latest news released by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, China has opened more than 80, 000 5G base stations, and it is estimated that more than 130000 5G base stations will be opened by the end of 2019. Huawei, ZTE, Vivo and other mainstream mobile phone brands have launched 5G commercial terminals, and the price is also lower than initially; by the end of September this year, the domestic 5G mobile phone have more than 18 types .
